About us

Who we are, and on what authority

ADCI is an Ivorian political movement. Its vision: to build a society in which every citizen is protected by the impartial application of the law, founded on fairness, transparency and justice. The Diaspora network carries that ambition beyond the country's borders.

Vision, mission, values

As set out in “Our 16 Pillars”, before the pillars themselves, under the slogan laid down by the Statutes: “Building a society of trust”. Our translation — the French text is authoritative.

Our 16 pillars

Our vision

We aspire to build a society of trust in which every citizen is protected by the impartial application of the law, founded on the principles of fairness, transparency and justice. We are committed to creating a community that values every individual, teaching each one, from the home and from the first day of school, that hard work is the key to social advancement. Our vision is to forge, through justice, a sense of belonging to the Ivorian nation — a nation that is inclusive and united in the richness of its diversity.

Our mission

Our mission is to transform Ivorian society radically by making corruption the declared enemy of the people. We place the education of citizens at the heart of our priorities, uphold democracy as a fundamental value of the Republic, and commit to treating the concerns of young people as an essential mission of the State. We affirm that citizen participation in the management of public affairs is a fundamental right of the people, and we pledge to promote that participation.

Our values

The society of trust we intend to build rests on integrity, transparency, accountability, mutual respect between leaders and citizens, and on justice and fairness in the management of public affairs. We value merit, excellence, work, solidarity, moderation and freedoms.

The Diaspora network

Decision No. 002-2026/PR/CAB of 8 April 2026, issued by the President of the movement.

Read the decision

Purpose

To define the strategic, organisational and operational framework of the “ADCI Diaspora” network: its geographical organisation, the roles, responsibilities and limits of each function, and how they relate to one another. The decision is binding on all the structures and officers concerned.

Article 1

Aims

To spread and defend the movement's vision among Ivorian communities in the diaspora; to organise and coordinate its presence abroad; to mobilise members and supporters for the long term; to keep national strategy and action in the countries of residence consistent; to strengthen the movement's presence and influence on the international stage.

Article 2

Scope

All the movement's structures established abroad — country coordinations, delegations, sections and cells —, the activities carried out in its name within the diaspora, and the relations between the Presidency, the Vice-Presidency in charge of the Diaspora, the National Secretariat, the country coordinators and the grassroots structures.

Article 3

The zones

The network is organised into geopolitical and diplomatic zones, for effective international coverage, closeness to Ivorian communities and coordination suited to regional realities. Each zone is coordinated by a National Secretariat in charge of the Diaspora, which ensures consistency between zones, harmonises strategies and safeguards the movement's unity internationally.

This site presents the network in five zones: Americas, Europe 1, Europe 2, Africa, Asia & Oceania.

Articles 6 and 8

The chain of responsibility

Five levels, one vertical logic: directives go down, reports go up.

1

Presidency of the movement

Supreme political authority.

2

Vice-Presidency in charge of the Diaspora

Political authority of reference. Sets direction and arbitrates; does not run the country coordinations day to day.

3

National Secretariat in charge of the Diaspora

Organisation and coordination across a zone.

4

Country coordination

Implementation on the ground in each country where the network is present.

5

Delegations, sections and cells

Local leadership, member mobilisation and local activities.
